On a chilly afternoon in October Malerie kissed her step father as he handed her off to her father, who would finish walking her down the aisle toward her best friend and future husband, Corey. It was a gorgeous ceremony, attended by all of their friends and family and even the couple’s two Corgies, Grace and Bailey.

Have we told you all how much we loved barn weddings? We’re in New England, after all, and there are barns everywhere. But Malerie and Corey really knew how to throw a barn wedding. Corey’s family are Tobacco farmers, and Corey and his groomsmen all arrived via one of the tobacco tractors, on a rig that looked very much like a traveling bar. As you’ll see in the photos, the boys used it for just that purpose! I know Shana wishes she could travel everywhere like that.

Malerie and Corey, thank you for sharing your day with us. We photograph people on one of the happiest days of their lives and we’ve never seen another couple as happy as you were on your wedding day, (even if Malerie sometimes looks like she’s crying when she’s really happy) and that was so, so refreshing. We wish you both lifetimes of happiness. Yes, I meant that plurally.
