Shana and I are so happy we were a part of this gorgeous and special day. Caitlin and Lindsy contacted us a few months ago about having us photograph a very intimate ceremony between the two, officiated and witnessed by their very dear friend Scotti. We were so touched about being included in such a small circle of people witnessing the love of these two.

Caitlin and Lindsy said their vows on the hillside property of Caitlin’s Alaskan neighbors. They just so happen to own a cabin in Conway they let the couple use freely and it’s such a perfect, serene, lovely place.

Now I hope I get this next story right, because it’s super adorable. Originally the two had planned on waiting a while longer to get married, and they’re still planning on having a reception/party next august with all their friends and family, but back to the story here. Caitlin is a fantastic knitter, and the two decided that when she finished a shawl she was knitting for their wedding they would get married. They figured it would take her a while, and 4 months (again, I hope I’m getting my facts straight!) later it was done and they were calling us about getting hitched! The shawl is so so beautiful, by the way. I wish I had a patience for the craft because how cool is it to make your own clothes?

The two looked absolutely fantastic in their outfits, both Shana and I both remarked at some point that we want both those outfits. She wants the dress, naturally. The little details of the romantic afternoon were my favorite part, I think. The shawl and Caitlin’s parents bowl, Lindsy reading Caitlin “I like you”, the couple flipping a coin to see who would read their vows first, and the flowers the two used were so pretty. We really can’t get over how much we adored every moment of the afternoon spent with Caitlin, Lindsy, Scotti (and Trixie!)
