It’s amazing how quickly you forget what true Florida heat is like. Shana and I lived it for 12 years, and still we were not prepared for what awaited us when we ventured down to Key West for Erin and Aaron’s destination wedding. August in Florida has always been spectacularly hot, but even the Key West locals were complaining that it was hotter than even they could remember. It’s appropriate that these photos are melt worthy, then, as they go along fantastically with the weather. Seriously though, the formals of these two at sunset had Shana and I absolutely geeking out when we got back to our hotel that evening after the wedding. The whole day was gorgeous, despite the heat, and it was helped out by the fact that Erin was absolutely stunning in her simple gown. They got married on the grounds of the Hemingway House, and the reception was held on the property of a gorgeous private residence the couple had rented. We got to see a ton of familiar faces, the day was so relaxed and unhurried, and there was so much love and laughter between these two that day. We had an absolute blast jetsetting to paradise to photograph Erin & Aaron and their awesome wedding, enjoy the photos!
