Ashley and Phil are old highschool friends, and nothing makes you feel older than realizing how long ago you all were in school together, and how grown up you all are now. GROWN UP AND GETTING MARRIED. It doesn’t change the total excitement at getting to photograph people you know, or being able to catch up with each other while you do. We were all in theatre together (TROUPE 257 REPRESENTTTTT) and I explained to Shana beforehand that photographing Ashley and Phil would be a total goofy blast. We met up with them at one of our favorite spots, Puffer’s Pond, as they were spending some time on the east coast of the state earlier in the week before making their way over to our neck of the woods (don’t sue me, Al Roker). They’re in the process of moving from NYC back to Florida, and we’re shooting their wedding down there at Ashley’s parents gorgeous house this February, and we seriously cannot wait.

The afternoon was so absolutely perfect, the weather was at it’s best, and naturally, so were these two. We had such a fantastic time catching up and capturing their dorktastic personalities (I mean dorktastic in the most fondly of ways). Enjoy!
