It never ceases to amaze us that people are willing to book our services halfway across the country. Lilly and Sadie live in St. Louis, but have ties to the area, and hired us to shoot their wedding in New York next year. Some plans fell through with the venue in New York, however, and so now the whole thing is going to be held down in St. Louis! We may or may not have been slightly exuberant about it when Lilly called to ask if we’d still shoot the wedding. Um, YES, and also YES again.

We finally got to meet Lilly and Sadie a few weeks ago on one of their trips back up here to visit, and we got to spend the afternoon in Downtown Northampton having some drinks at Fitzwilly’s and then meandering around town. They also had the awesome idea of wearing their “Show Me Marriage” t-shirts for a few, since Missouri is still trying valiantly to get same-sex marriage legalized. We had an awesome time getting to know these two, and we seriously can’t wait to fly to STL next year to photograph their wedding!
