Where do we even start with these two? John and Stephen are two of the biggest personalities we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. The two got married on a rainy day at their Alma Mater, the place they met, Brown University. The day was filled with so much love, humor, support, and unfortunately no sighting of Emma Watson (you had better believe I was on the lookout.)

Shana and I felt right at home with these two and their families, which always warms our hearts, and even though there was rain this couldn’t have been a brighter, more colorful day. Speaking of colorful, one of the best parts that had us doubled over and nearly in tears was during the toasts. There is some backstory necessary here, and so I’ll try not to butcher it. At some point in time Stephen’s mother watched an old school gay movie (I can’t remember which) where the couple got married with flower crowns on. She was convinced this was something the pair would absolutely want at their wedding as well, and although the crowns didn’t make it to the ceremony, Stephen’s brother’s made sure during the toasts to crown John and Stephen with said crowns his mother made for them. The crowns made their rounds on nearly every guest that evening, and Shana and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time we edited the photos. So without further ado, here is John and Stephen’s love filled wedding.
