When posting the sneak peak to this I said I had no words for how beautiful Melissa and Jon’s wedding was, and I still don’t, but I’ve got to do my best as this is a blog and you won’t get the whole story from the pictures alone. Let me first start by saying that Shana and I are in love with these two. Really, seriously, we want to marry them and have this exact same wedding take place all over again. The couple got married in Melissa’s parent’s backyard, and Melissa’s attention to detail was ridiculous (and I mean ridiculous in the most endearing way). Everything from the photobooth to the place settings to the homemade jam. AND THE SODA. Good gods, the soda! She found a company in Ludlow who bottles their own soda and uses real vintage bottles. What about the FOOD, you ask? the CUPCAKES? the BAND? All were so delicious.
How about all their awesome friends? Rick, the guy who married the two, wore a Motorhead t-shirt just for the occasion. One of Melissa’s girlfriends has a DARK MARK TATTOO from Harry Potter (and not the stupid movie version, but the original book version!) But the best part of the whole thing? The amount of love floating around between and for these two. I don’t think anyone could stop smiling. The day was magical, and Shana and I are so very happy to have been there to witness the whole thing, and to call these two our friends. We wish you both so much love and happiness in your future together.
