Sarah + Mark’s Rainy Farm Wedding

There are wedding days where Shana and I wake up, turn on the weather channel, and become bridezillas ourselves. Perhaps this is why we have never encountered a bride who has had a meltdown over the weather, some sort of cosmic thing happens and we suck all the meltdown energy out of them. In reality, I think it’s just that we have such awesome brides who are just so absolutely happy to be marrying the love of their lives they can’t be bothered with the weather. Sarah was one of those brides. When we arrived at Quonquont she was all smiles even though the sky outside looked like she was in store for flying houses and wicked witches from the west. But the weather was holding, it looked like they might get through the ceremony without a drop. Luckily Sarah and Mark had thought ahead with a tent, but everyone was holding their breath regardless.

As the ceremony started the entire wedding party made it from the barn to the tent without a drop from the sky. But the moment, and I mean THE MOMENT Sarah walked out the door it was instantly a monsoon. But looking at Sarah it was like it was a sunny day at the beach, she was absolutely radiant next to her father. The show went on, and I’d say Sarah and Mark had the most memorable ceremony I’ve personally ever seen. The rain lasted until the end of the ceremony and cleared up the moment they kissed, when the sun came back out for their exit. The rest of the evening saw no rain at all. They say rain is actually good luck, so in this case I’d say Sarah and Mark are looking at a long and happy life together. We wish these two that and more! Congratulations again, and we hope you love every one of these as much as we do.
