Meet Us

Brittney Love used to spend her teenage years taking endless self portraits in outrageous locations and funny clothes. A few of her friends told her she had a knack for it, and so following high school Brittney decided to pursue a career in photography. She bought herself a fancy camera and set out to learn the finer aspects of photography, which didn’t include myspace angles. She quickly excelled at her craft, gaining attention for her unusual and beautiful portraiture. The last step for her was to figure out how to make money doing what she loved. Which as any artist can attest, is no simple task if you’re unorganized. Then she met Shana Perry.

Problem solved.

Shana Perry spent her childhood in the dark room with her father. She naturally wanted nothing to do with photography by the time she was in high school, and instead focused on sports. After completing her masters in guidance counseling and psychology, she promptly set out to look for a job in education. But on a spontaneous vacation to visit her parents in Florida, she landed herself a job as a baker in the local island bakery. A year later she owned the bakery, 6 years later Brittney & Shana started dating, and after 10 years of successful business, Shana hung up her apron as a baker and started managing Brittney’s business for her.

Brittney + Shana decided to relocate from Florida to Western Massachusetts in June of 2011 and haven’t looked back.

Shana has since learned the craft, and after a year of assisting Brittney is now an equally good artist. Brittney Love Photography then morphed into Love + Perry Photography, a much more fitting name to the business run by the newlywed couple. They finally tied the knot on April 14th, 2012 after 5 years together (because they were finally able to!) and they now totally get the struggles their clients go through on a day to day basis.

They can’t wait to hear what you have in store for them, or to stop talking the third person, so do them a favor and go send them a message on the contact page!
