Kristi and Sean’s wedding takes the cake for the most guests we’ve ever seen, but even with the size of the event it couldn’t have felt more intimate. These two, and their families, are the nicest people you could ever meet. They’re fellow Hatfielders (original Hatfielders, really) and Sean’s family owns a good amount of the land in Hatfield for their massive potato farms. We knew his last name the moment they contacted us, and were so thrilled and honored when they chose us to be the ones to photograph their wedding. From the moment we met them they’ve been nothing but awesome “neighbors”, plowing our driveway, dropping off pumpkins and arranging them on our front stoop, honking every time they pass. They’ve made us feel even more welcome than we already did in this small town, and like we’re truly a part of it, and we love them so very dearly for that.
So it’s no surprise that they had so many people at their wedding, being the type of people that they are. They held the reception at Sean’s parents property in Hadley, under a monster size tent with gorgeous and fun fall details everywhere. A polka band and tons of vodka honored the super Polish heritage Sean’s family is (rightly) proud of, and the party was one of the most memorable we’ve ever attended. We absolutely adore these two and their backyard wedding, enjoy the photos!
