Alex happens to be the child of two of Shana and I’s absolute favorite people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting from our time living on Boca Grande. Her parents, Delphine and Perry, vacation there regularly in the winter months, and we met them years ago when Shana owned and operated the small bakery on the island. Fate would have it that their home state also happens to be Massachusetts, and so when Alex got engaged to Dan we were put on their short list of photographers to look into. We had only met Alex once previously, briefly, but her infectious smile and hilarious witty humor is not something you’ll ever forget once you meet her, so we were thrilled when she contacted us about her wedding.

The two got married on the water at Wentworth by The Sea, an adorable little country club in Portsmouth, NH. The day could not have been more picturesque, it was breezy and sunny and actually quite warm for October on the water. Alex and Dan have such an obvious appreciation and love for each other, it’s evident with every smile they gave each other the whole day. We had a blast driving around on golf carts at sunset to get some incredibly gorgeous sunset shots, and the dance party they had (complete with a choreographed whip-naynay by the whole family) was just as fun as their personalities.
