There have been moments in our photography career where Shana and I get home, sigh, and talk about how much we love what we do. Yesterday was one of those days. We finally got to meet Grace and Heather, after booking their wedding over the phone last November. They were one of our couples who wanted to wait until warmer weather, and luckily yesterday was warm but not the ungodly hot it was a few days previous! We met up first at the Toasted Owl for drinks and to get to know each other, and we’re totally happy we got to do this because we. love. them. They’re also the first couple we’ve met with the same age difference as us and they had a somewhat similar story to ours, which was neat. They brought along their rescue greyhound, Beatrix, who is so very pretty and steals your heart the moment you see her. We walked around downtown Northampton, attracting masses of people eating ice cream wondering if this adorable couple smooching all over the place were really celebrities because they had paparazzi following them about (I indulge, I know.) Grace and Heather, thanks for making us love what we do. See you two August 18th, it’ll be here before you know it!
