Caitlan + Mike’s Engagement on Gibbet Hill

This weekend was full of two amazing engagement shoots! On Saturday, Shana and I drove out to Groton to meet up with Caitlan and Mike at their wedding venue, Gibbet Hill. Caitlan wanted to be able to get some shots up on the hill with these incredible old castle ruins, since the hike would be too much on the day of, and we’re so happy she decided to do this because the spot really is gorgeous. The wedding coordinator at Gibbet Hill wasn’t kidding when she said it was a hike! By the time we reached the top all four of us were huffing and puffing and laughing about what the bridesmaids and groomsmen might say if they were forced to hike there for the photos. It was so peaceful up there, though, and Caitlan and Mike were so awesome and brought a bottle of champagne to toast to our nuptials! We easily could’ve spent hours and hours up there with these two. Caitlan and Mike, next time we see you we’ll be toasting to YOUR nuptials and we cannot wait!
