Hannah + Kristie’s Quonquont Farm Wedding

These two, where do I even begin? We met Hannah and Kristie over a year and a half ago, and from the moment we met at our initial consult it was love at first sight. We’ve since become fantastic friends, with nights spent boozing and planning out our contingency plans for a zombie apocalypse while watching The Walking Dead. Hannah and I talk of our futures with children and cute dresses while Shana and Kristie roll their eyes and talk about much more “interesting” things. Our chihuahua peed on Hannah during our first meeting and their dog Samson has a secret love affair with Shana. It was a match made in heaven meeting these two, and that’s why I’m so excited to share their gorgeous Quonquont Farm wedding with you today. It was the most perfect day in May, sandwiched between two dreadful weekends where it rained, and there was so much love to go around it would make The Grinch pass out. These ladies spent so much time with all the details, and their hard work definitely shows. We also tested the waters with some intermittent video when we weren’t shooting photos, and we can’t wait to show off that goodness once it’s done being edited (EDIT: IT’S DONE! We’d like to mention that we don’t offer this as a service just yet, as we’re just testing the waters with video. It’s extremely time consuming and you need crazy amounts of concentration to shoot stills and video on the same camera. Perhaps down the road when we pick up a couple more video capable DSLR’s we’ll think about offering this, but for now we’re sticking to what we know. We’d seriously hate our for our photography to suffer because we were caught up with doing both, but it is a very real possibility that we’ll do something like this in the future once we work out the logistics of how we’d go about the day, the equipment we’d need, etc. By no means would we be videographers, because what they do is an entirely different art. They capture the ENTIRE wedding, with audio, and create CINEMATIC MOVIES for you. What we did here was grab a few videos when we had some down time and make more of a music video montage. They’re both very different things! We know some killer videographers if that’s something you’re interested in!
