We’re alive! We didn’t get kidnapped in the Caribbean, though I can’t say either of us would’ve complained if that were the case, as every part of our honeymoon was so perfect. But that’s a later post! Right now it’s all about Melissa and Jeff. You may remember these two, Jeff was the guy who called us up to photograph his proposal to his long time girlfriend, Melissa. The blog from that is here, and if you haven’t seen it, you need to, because it was our first proposal shoot and easily one of the most romantic things we’ve ever seen.
The two got married on a chilly day in November at Mill 1, this really awesome old mill turned event space. Shana and I can’t get over how awesome the whole thing looks in pictures, just because of the amount of expression and emotion shown by everyone there. Jeff easily wins the award for best reaction to seeing his bride, it was the same reaction Melissa had to his proposal, “are you for real?” and I’m pretty sure everyone in the room was thinking the same thing as she was just so gorgeous.
I think they win quite a few best awards, including best garter dance, which had Shana and I rolling on the floor that night and again while we edited them. They win best dance party, too, I think every single guest there was up on the dance floor nearly the whole night.
Melissa and Jeff, we’re so glad we go to see your relationship evolve from the very beginning of your engagement all the way to your wedding. It was such a cool thing to experience, knowing that one day when you tell your kids the story of your engagement we’ll be in there, Shana crying as much as Melissa and all.
