It’s an absolutely cool thing when you look at a photograph and feel the emotion coming through. There were so many of these with Leyla and Julian that Shana and I lost count. Everyone was just so genuinely happy for these two.
The couple got married at Quontquont Farm on a warm sunny day in August with friends and family from all over the world. Leyla’s parents are British and Palestinian, and Julian’s family is Colombian, and the two (well three technically, right?) combined made for some awesome traditions. Leyla’s dad lead a traditional Palestinian drum Tabla from the ceremony site, something I wish I had actually recorded video of, as you really have to hear the music to get feeling of it. They danced a salsa for their first dance. Well, what I think was a salsa. I’m not qualified in this area but it looked a lot like something you’d call a salsa.
Leyla’s three sisters (one made official sister in law status that day) looked almost as gorgeous as Leyla did. Leyla, who is so naturally gorgeous I might be jealous of her (if it weren’t for the fact that she’s just so easy to take photos of.) Julian and the guys looked absolutely rock star. Everything was just so ridiculously pretty.
Julian and Leyla, you guys could not have wowed us more. We can’t wait to share the rest of your photos with you. Can we make you come hang out with us in order to do this? Trickery Bribery.
