We have been waiting what feels like an eternity to share Lauren and Dean’s wedding with you. Lauren and Dean are super special to us, we met them and felt such an awesome connection right from the start. You may remember their awesome funky engagement session, when we got into way too much trouble at the Tunnel Bar with some fancy drinks, and their wedding was no less spectacular. The details! Lauren is a tattoo artist, and an artist in general, and she thought up all of this. All of it. She may have employed her friends and family at times to help her make 5000 paper roses (I SHIT YOU NOT, 5000.) but this was all her vision. The couple got married at a family friend’s farm in the middle of nowhere Granville, and even though the day started out misty and drizzly by the time the wedding rolled around it was just moody and cloudy. It was easily one of the most emotional weddings we’ve attended, Lauren and Dean are ridiculously into each other and I don’t think there was a single dry eye in the crowd that day. They had a friend, Jon Gorman, as a flower girl. The reception was a fantastic party, with an abundance of Narragansett and sweaty dancing. Hot Dot, Dean’s awesome mother, showed off some serious skillz on the dance floor. It was magical, the whole thing, and we can’t get over how happy we are that we met these two and got to share this with them.
So now that we’ve gushed over these two enough, we should mention something new you’ll see below. Some of you may remember Hannah and Kristie’s wedding video, which was a giant favor to the couple, and my endless ranting about how we wouldn’t be offering it anytime soon. Well, I’m eating my words. We overheard the morning of the wedding that Lauren’s grandparents weren’t going to be able to make it, and we’d been wanting to experiment a bit more with video, and so we secretly videoed parts of the day when we had moments and stitched together a music video for the couple to show Lauren’s grandparents. We gave it to them a few days after, so some of you may have seen us tagged in it on their facebook page, but this is the first official debut of the video, as well as a debut for our new offering, something we’ve dubbed “Moving Images” - you get exactly what you see below, a 2-4 minute music video from the day, of moments we manage to capture when we’re not taking photos. It’s also part of our biggest package! Ask us about it!
But now, enjoy the love!
