Mia contacted us a couple months ago, and right away Shana and I recognized her name. She’s been liking our stuff on Facebook for ages, and we never knew who she was until she contacted us wanting to get photos with her boyfriend Matt, and their friends Amanda and Chris. The couples both brought along their dogs Scout and Rhondo and they easily stole the show all day long. Both were so behaved. I guess I’d be really well behaved if I was fed a whole bag of treats, too! *hint hint, Shana*
We met up at Stanley Park and finally had our first run in with one of the park keepers. Stanley Park requires a $75 fee for taking pictures, which is absolutely ridiculous, but we’ve never encountered anyone who has actually enforced it. This guy was more concerned with the dogs being in the garden area, but as an after thought he saw our cameras and asked us if we were professional photographers. I don’t know how we managed to both be on the same page, but we both just said we were taking pictures of friends and that we weren’t professionals. Totally a lie, obviously, and I’d normally feel a guilty mess about it but $75, really? and any person with a camera BUT professionals are allowed to take pictures for free? It’s just not right.
We didn’t encounter any problems after that, and the sun was shining and it wasn’t nearly as freezing as we expected. Not to mention you can’t take a bad photo of any of these four! So after all those months of following our stuff, Mia, we hope these all live up to your expectations!
